General Elections Day 2023 in Turkey

We kindly remind, that May 14, 2023 (Sunday), is a day of General elections in Turkey, when not only the President of the Republic will be elected, but also the new members of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.

We expect wider spreads in trading pairs that include Turkish Lira (TRY), as well as higher volatility between May 12, 2023, and May 16, 2023 (Friday-Tuesday). As a result, trading in instruments that include TRY will be limited to the ‘Close Only’ mode.

These special trading conditions may be extended if volatility remains high. We also reserve the right to make corrections to the marginal trading specifications for pairs containing TRY based on the current market conditions. It is recommended to trade cautiously in case of low liquidity.
